The Journey of FEC
October 2019:
The Spark in India
In October 2019, a bright idea sparked after an undergraduate dissertation in India. With a passion for financial education, we launched our first workshops for high school and university students, planting the seeds of financial literacy.
2019 - 2020:
Growing and Adapting
Our initial in-person workshops were a hit, impacting over 350 students. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, we didn't miss a beat. We seamlessly transitioned to online sessions, reaching an additional 300 students and making financial education accessible to even more people despite the challenges.
2021- 2022:
Innovating and Evolving
In 2021, our founder embarked on a master's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This was a game-changer for FEC. We took feedback from our participants to heart and developed two innovative business models during the master's dissertation, including our signature game-based workshop model.
2023:
Protecting and Expanding
2023 was a landmark year. We secured intellectual property rights for our game, protecting our unique approach. By December, we officially registered our business, marking a major milestone and solidifying our commitment to transforming financial education. Following this, we joined the University of Warwick's graduate incubator program, setting the stage for further growth and development.
2024:
Ready for the World
This year, our focus has been on refining our game and preparing for user testing. We're thrilled to invite you to join us in this exciting phase. Your feedback will help us perfect our product and make financial education more engaging than ever. Plus, for every game sold, we will provide free personal finance sessions to 3 children in India, multiplying our global impact.
